The Endless Summer Hydrangea is still blooming. I love this one!
Yummm, the blood oranges are getting bigger. The tree was planted on Mother's Day and it's always a thrill to check the little oranges. (I should have tossed that little dead clipping before I took the picture.)
A close up of one the pots of mums bought from Costco. This was taken before the storm a couple of days ago.
And now my surprise. I noticed a strange little plant next to a rose bush and wondered what on earth it was since it wasn't anything that I had planted. Can you tell what it is? (Sorry for the poor quality photo - I'm having issues with the camera.)
It's a grape tomato! I think one of the dogs took a tomato outside and dropped it and it grew! I was amazed!

okay, I officially forgive you for the long silence THIS WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT! Your hydrangea...oh my! The garden here is dead and gone...but yours my friend is looking wonderful! I sure hope you have a few more weeks of flowering in these plants!

I love watching hydrangeas age, they just get prettier. The blood oranges look like they like where they are.
How lucky you are to have your hydrangeas blooming. They are really one of my favorites. I remember when the orange tree was planted for your mother. Will they take long to ripen??

Well, hey neighbor! I was born and raised in Livermore, now in Newman. Of course, I probably wouldn't recognize Fremont anymore...is the Hub still around? It was a little shopping center we would trek to for school clothes back in the day. Of course, I can hardly find my way around Livermore anymore. The one horse town grew up! My Dad is still there, at least I can find my way home ;~) LOL
I'll have to try hydrangeas in pots...so frustrating isn't it, when people near you grow them.
