Welcome to this week's Pink Saturday, hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.
In honor of Mother's Day, I cut a bouquet of pink Geoff Hamilton roses and arranged them in a vintage vase placed on a pink depression glass ash tray. The glassware belonged to my Mom, as well as the sweet pink hankie and jewelry.
Please visit Beverly's by clicking HERE to see the other PINK Saturday participants.
I think that as the years' go by and we grow older we see our mothers' in such a different light. What we thought we saw in our youth is not what we see as we grow older, become a mom, ourselves, and look at motherhood from the other side of the coin.
Thanks for sharing such precious items. Happy Mother's Day. You are special to me.
Gorgeous flowers! Diane, your Mom had esquisite taste! What a beautiful little vignette with the pink roses, depression glass and hankie...sooo sweet! It's a perfect Mother's Day tribute! Love ya, Susan
