Pink Saturday!

Welcome to Pink Saturday! My mother's Desert Rose pitchers are my contributions to Pink Saturday this week. Pink Saturday is hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.

Aren't these the sweetest little pitcher's? Mom usually used her Desert Rose dishes at Easter. I love the colors and they bring back the wonderful memories of her fabulous dinners.

Pink Saturday is hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound. Please visit Beverly to see the list of the other Pink Saturday participants.

Enjoy!

Lovely memory and pitchers!
I nearly choked to death laughing when I read you sentence at Justine's. Mine was no where near that good. I had something along the lines of "I kicked my cell phone under the dining table because I'm sexy and can do whatever I want."

Don't listen to Jill. I don't remember grandma having a pitcher like that!

The pitchers are sweet. There's something about small pitchers that have always attracted me, but the dessert rose pattern is especially pretty.

Hope you use them also! I use my great grand mother's punch bowl with 4 and 5 year old children! They love it! And I'm sure they will have memories of it when they get older.
Happy Pink Saturday!

That sweet little pitcher reminds me of my grandma who had service for 12 of Desert Rose. My cousin has it now and uses it for special occasions.

Happy Pink Saturday!

I always loved the hand painted rose plates my mom used on special occasions. It's funny how dishes can hold so many precious memories!

Dessert Rose is just the prettiest pattern. It would be especially lovely on an Easter table. How great that you have your mom's pieces.

Happy belated PSat! Dana

My mother gave me her Desert Rose dishes. She bought them for her hope chest a piece at a time. She rarely ever used them, so they are in pristine condition. I am planning on using them for Mother’s Day. They are beautiful dishes.
