Pink Saturday

It's Pink Saturday and my favorite colored day of the week. Time flies past so quickly, it seems like I just wrote a Pink Saturday post...

Many years ago, my grandmother bought a pair of sweet bisque figurines for me at Disneyland. I always thought of the girls as "sisters" and treasured them because Grandma bought them. Now I'm sharing them with you for Pink Saturday. The "sisters" are standing next to one of my mom's plates.

Please visit Beverly's blog at How Sweet the Sound to see the list of Pink Saturday participants.

Enjoy!

Diane

Oh my, they are adorable. What treasures to have as a memory of your grandmother. Both of mine passed away before I was born, so anyone who has had a relationship with their grandmother has a treasure indeed.

Happy Pink Sunshiny Saturday!
I love the sister. Did they come from the little shop on main street where they had all the pretty antiquey looking things? I have vague memories of all the lovely fragile keepsakes.

I love Disney and your figurines are as lovely as a beautiful rose. The plate is also beautiful, thankyou for the share and Happy Pink Saturday, Char
I post under the name of someplace in thyme and not english cottage rose. That is a Friday Flea Market selling site and I can't seem to find a way to change it.

hey sunshine! got your question. all I do to keep the wood heathy in my window boxes is drill holes for drainage, use plastic pots inside instead of directly putting soil inside the wooden part, (you can get long skinny square ones) and Paint them. Even treating them with an outdoor clear coat is better than nothing at all!
