Outdoor Wednesday and What's On Your Wall Wednesday!!
Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday, hosted by Susan at A Southern Daydreamer.
It's sunny, but a little chilly today and the blue skies are just a big tease for the warmer weather. I'm sharing pictures that always make me smile and I hope they put smiles on your faces too.
I pooch sit occasionally for Coco, my DIL's family Yorkshire Terrier. In July 2007, they adopted Chanel, another little Yorkie puppy, to their family and I got to pooch sit both little girls. I was so excited. Baby Chanel was 9 weeks old when they brought her home. A month later I was pooch sitting again and took pictures this time. (I think they each weigh about 4 lbs.)
Baby Chanel - 9 weeks old!
Baby Chanel sitting in my Wave Petunias. (She was about 13 weeks old.) The petunias didn't die last winter, they just continued to grow & bloom. I hope they last this year, but we've had some very cold nights, so I may be planting them again.
Chanel is sitting by a Limelight hydrangea. The flowers are amazing on this bush!
Big sister Coco sitting by a hydrangea. Coco was about 2 years old then.
Coco wasn't so impressed with the big flowers. Please visit Susan's blog for the links to other Outdoor Wednesday participants.

Welcome to the first What's On Your Wall Wednesday hosted by Barb at Grits and Glamour.
I'm sharing two Thomas Kinkade paintings located in our family room with you. We have several of his paintings, I love the houses, but my husband prefers the mountain scenes and these are two of his favorites.
Lakeside Hideaway
Mountain Majesty - Beginning of a Perfect Day III
Please visit Barb's blog for the links to the other What's On Your Wall Wednesday participants.
Diane...what a cute little pooch! And your petunias are a gorgeous purple...and hydrangeas...ahh one of my favorites (I think I have 15-20 in my yard and they are a beautiful blue in late summer)
Thanks for sharing your flowers and Happy Outdoor Wednesday!
those dogs are adorable! I could snuggle up with them by a warm fire.
Thomas Kinkaide is one of my favorites. I do his puzzles every winter. I'm working on one now. I have 2 large ones in the basement waiting for me to glue them.
Oh, how absolutely adorable! I can't even see the flowers I'm so in love with the dogs! Oh cute! Cute! Cute! Yorkies are some of my favorite dogs! Thanks for sharing. I'll be smiling all night.
Your cuties look like stuffed animals among the flowers. I wondered where you lived to have your petunias last through the winter. I'm just a short drive from you but it is too cold for petunias in the winter.
Those babies are adorable! I love yorkies, they look like little stuffed toys! And their faces are SO expressive. Your garden is lovely, its so cute that some of the flowers are bigger than the pups. Thanks for the day brightener. Kathy
Those little Poochies are soooo cute---"Pooch Sitting" would be so much fun with them--especially if I got to enjoy them while surrounded by your beautiful flowers! Your TK prints are great!
Hi Diane... What cute little dogs your daughter has... And Chanel & Coco... mmmmmmm wonder where their name came from... I can smell it...LOL LOL As for your Thomas Kinkade's they are awesome... Definitely one of my favorite artists... They had a wonderful gallery in St. Augustine which my honey & I always enjoyed visiting... Did you know if he is in the area you live and at a gallery visiting he will put additional highlights on your painting... There are quite a few little interesting things about his paintings as I am sure you already know... Very cool huh??? Have a wonderful day...
Thanks for sharing these pics. The little one among the flowers is so cute. I love hydrangea but never could get mine to bloom. Enjoyed. Blessings, Sue
Oh Diane you had me at the Yorkies...did I ever tell you I had 5 of these all at the time time..all females..just loved my girls..if I laid on the sofa they laid all over me..I had one that laid on my head, one on my hip and one in front of my chest and 2 at my feet...and they were so funny if one moved like they were going to another spot they would all growl...Oh girl I just loved those fur babies..my last one died in 05 and I have never replaced them yet..its too hard when I lose them..I really go into depression.. Love your paintings girl..have you ever been to his studio in Placerville yet? its well worth the trip if you haven't..every Dec he is there signing his new Christmas pictures..tell hubby he got great taste...hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
Those puppies are the cutest things ever!!! I wanted one of those but my hubby said "NO CHICK DOGS" He said if it fit in my purse it wasn't a real dog lol. They are adorable!!!!! You are so lucky to get to pooch sit them!
