I'm sharing pictures of Pebble Beach at Spanish Bay today. The pictures were taken in December 2007.
A lone chair sitting in the grass with the beautiful ocean view beyond. The grass area is behind the Pebble Beach Golf Club.
The building off to the far distant left is the Beach Club.
Low tide and the beach below the Beach Club. My son and friends were tossing rocks into the surf.
It was such a beautiful day and fun to walk on the hard packed sand, but I kept checking for the incoming tide.
Thank you, Susan, for hosting Outdoor Wednesday! Please visit Susan's blog for links to the other Outdoor Wednesday participants.
Enjoy!

Beautiful pictures, Diane. It's 25 degrees here in Vicksburg this morning, and your beach pictures were a nice way to start my day.
Thank you for visiting my Southern Lagniappe, and for taking the time to leave a note. I look forward to getting to know you through your lovely blog.
Sincerely,

Beautiful pictures. I've never seen this part of the country!

Pebble Beach is a remarkable spot! My aunt and uncle had a home on the 17 Mile drive. I wish we had visited them more often!
Lovely photos.

How nice to visit the beach in the winter. It is such a delightful season to be there instead of the height of the tourist season when everything -- beach, hotels, restaurants -- is so congested. Looks like you had a wonderful time at Pebble Beach.
Blessings, Lana
Yeeeha!! I have been there!!! :-) This was so much fun!! :-) haha

Monica

Hey Diane! Thanks for letting me know about my pictures, Susan also left me a comment about them not appearing. I copied and pasted the URL at about 6:30 a.m. today so it's possible I did it wrong! I'll have to get that fixed, won't I? (ha)
Your beach pics are great! I'll be in Mexico two weeks from today so I'm really looking forward to some fun in the sun!
Judy

What beautiful pictures. I love the chair all by it's lonesome, great shot. Beach pictures are my favorite, being landlocked in the middle of Texas! Kathy

Hi Diane, I found your blog through Cindy's Romantic Home..... thank you for taking us out of the cold for a lovely walk on the beach! Could you tell me how you posted the little hearts on Cindy's blog? Could use them for Valentines Day! Thank you!
Carol
Thank you, Diane! I tried doing what you said, but it must be different on a mac.
Carol
I followed your link from Cindy's Romantic Home. Your blog is gorgeous! Love today's photos. I noticed you left little hearts in your comment at Cindy's; please tell me how you did that. xoxo
Hi Diane...love your Outdoor Wednesday pics! I especially love the pic of your son or one of his friends getting ready to launch that rock. The lone chair was neat, too! :-) I was reading on the Colonial Candles website that all their candles are "virtually" dripless...so I guess they are considered dripless. I love the ones I've used. :-) Susan
Forgot to tell you what a cute background! It looks so fresh and cheerful!
Aaaahhh...I can feel the ocean breezes, hear the waves coming in...smell the sea water...only a few more months! Can hardly wait to walk on the beach again!
;-D

One of my favorite places! We love CA and go every chance we get... Had a wonderful time in LA last week - and yes, as you mentioned, the weather was just gorgeous! We've been to Pebble Beach several times times where we stayed at Inn at Spanish Bay. What a wonderful getaway!
Thank you for the day at the beach vacation. Just what I needed. I only wish I could actually feel the sand between my toes.
