Diane, Thanks for the idea for the back of the cabinet. I have thought many times of painting the whole thing or the back, but am afraid I will change my mind (occurs frequently!) Your solution is a REAL possibility...stay tuned

Congrats on your awards! Your addictions are about the same as mine!
Just read about you scratching the floor while trying to move furniture...I am soooo guilty of doing that! Poor baby, are you okay now? I'm sure hubby will fix it up. I use those "moving men discs" that are just like plastic circles that you put under the legs now. Everything slides like silk...so nice , what a great invention.

Hi lady.No I didn't either until Gloria dyed her chairs.I just poured the dye in a plastic bowl.Added salt and hot-hot water per instructions.Took a rag and washed the color on.Let them dry overnite.Ta da.They do look like brand new and-------------the dye gives the material awesome texture.It actually makes them stronger.
Of course you'll think of this.But,,,,be sure to put something you don't care about under them.I used an old spread.It is MESSY.O h and use gloves.EVERYTHING gets dyed.But luckily I only dyed the chairs and one finger that apparently sprung a leak.ha...Ann
