Outdoor Wednesday
This is my first Outdoor Wednesday post! Outdoor Wednesday is hosted by Susan at A Southern Daydreamer.
Our winter weather has been quite warm this year causing the plants to think it's Spring! I couldn't believe the roses were blooming like this and just had to take a picture. The yellow rose is peeping out of a scented geranium bush. It's a Henry Fonda rose. I think the English roses are Evelyn and Geoff Hamilton.
Please visit Susan's blog for the links to other Outdoor Wednesday participants.
Enjoy!

Diane...your roses are GORGEOUS! I've never tried to grow roses...but this makes me want to!
Thanks for the lovely pics on this Outdoor Wednesday! Susan
Such beautiful roses. They are all gorgeous, but being from Texas I'm partial to the yellow one!
Diane, welcome to Outdoor Wednesday! Your English Roses are beautiful! I have some in my yard too...and I miss them. I probably won't see a bloom until May on them (sigh)....so I am LOVING the photos of yours!
Hello Diane,
What gorgeous roses!! I love them...
What lovely roses! They are incredible. :-)
XO,
Sheila
Hi Diane, What beautiful roses! Oh I can't wait until spring.
Thanks for the info on the shower door. Sherry will be reading the comments so she will appreciate the info.
Market is open to people who own interior/gift shops or are interior decorators. You have to order off the showroom floors and most of the time you have to order in large quantitys and have it shipped in. If I could buy it off the floor, there is no doubt I would be in alot of debt.lol! Kristen
Diane...your roses are beautiful! It is impossible for me to grow them as my yard is shrouded by walnut trees. :-(
Thank you for sharing!
xoxo
Jane
evelynn is my all time favorite rose~ its time to prune them!
Diane,
Your roses are beautiful! Thinking about springtime...Great posts..Katherinellen
Diane, I love roses too! Whether a bud, a full bloom, or when they are withering, they are a true picture of how life is beautiful at any stage. I'm sure if they look this beautiful now, they must be totally rockin in the summer... Enjoyed your post! Please stop by for a visit today! ~CC of catherinesteacups.blogspot.com
My roses don't look that beautiful--in the Summer!!! I have frozen sticks right this minute where rose bushes will be in a few months--and I can hardly wait!
I love your roses! Those are my favorite flower. I have about 4 various ones right now...and for now they are sleeping! I planted a growing vine by my bedroom window and placed an arch there..hoping I could smell the fragrance-i havent yet but they do grow very nicely and are so pretty to look at.
Amazing roses! This weather has been crazy this year...no wonder the plants are confused...me too!
;-) Bo
Roses? All I can see out my window is snow!
Lucky you!! I will have to wait a few month for something that beautiful to happen in my garden!
Monica
Diane you must be in Texas. Are you? These are lovely.I had sad looking roses up until December.I am in Texas..ann
Gorgeous roses! How wonderful it must be to see such beauty in January. laurie
Ann, I live in N California. It's been in the 70's here lately, however it's 54 & overcast today, so we may be heading back to our normal winter weather. ♥ Diane
Wow! Beautiful! I need a little peek at Spring. It's been so cold here lately!...Debbie
The roses are lovely and I bet very aromatic. Ahh... I am getting excited for spring:)
Thanks for sharing your beauty!
Diane, It is Kara's Cupcakes and they have a location in Santana Row by the health club and one in the Palo Alto Town and Country Village on the side facing El Camino next to Sur La Table.
p.s. the vanilla is a clear winner for flavors.
How beautiful, Diane! Those roses look so hearty!
~WOW~ A-MAZING!
Love the yellow rose. :)
Growing roses is an art form, which you have mastered. How lovely the fragrance must be.
Hi Diane. I so glad you came by my blog. I really like Outdoor Wednesday. I too have wondered where those chickens have been all this time.
I think they must come out in the mornings while I am at work.
My roses always die. I'm usually pretty good with plants but not roses. Maybe you can give me some tips.
Diane just beautiful roses girl..I have a patio with roses on it can't put them in the ground as the deer just love to eat them..thanks for sharing hope all is well in your world dear friend..hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
I have passed a very sweet award on to you! :)
